Huevember 2016: TFA Blurr

As I mentioned before, I had drew pencil sketches during November for the Huevember, but it was delayed due to the IAP. This time, being bored, I decided to finish one of my pencil sketches for a belated Huevember entry.

This time the subject is TFA Blurr, and initially I planned to draw a more Art Deco-like BG for his sketch. While I abandoned the idea due to convenience, I nevertheless drew some wing like patterns in the BG. I inked the character with a 0.1 pen, a 0.5 pen and a brush pen. As for the background pattern, I decided to ink it with the black marker for convenience. Again, due to the hand fatigue, some lines are quite shaky, and flaws are expected.

Afterwards, I began to colour the sketch. Now in previous sketch, I rarely used the blue and sky blue markers, as they are more green than other “blue” markers, like Cobalt Blue. But ever since some of the experiment, I began to see some value in these markers. They seem to provide more variation in the blue tone.

I ink the colour with the light blue, then with azure blue, sky blue and blue for the colour, with cobalt blue for the deepest blue. Afterwards I coloured the BG with light blue. Overall it looks fine, even if more improvement would be needed.

Now I finished it, time for me to have lunch and rest my hand.
