Inktober 2016: Day 27

So today, I drew the sketch of my robot OCs having fuel in break time without eating breakfast first.

As a result, the line work is pretty rushed. Also, I had experimented in adding colour as lighting., along with using the new brush pen for thicker lines. Result: it looked rush, but not as bad as I thought.

So while I haven’t establish their backstories well, I thought that Bruiser-Bot would be well-acquainted with one of the delivery bots, and they would have fuel in a bar during their break time.

I use the (worn down) 0.1 pen as first inking, then 0.5 pen and the brush pen I bought yesterday. Form my experience, while the brush pen’s softness allows more flexibility, it also made the lines thicker than I intended, especially due to my habit of putting too much strength in pen grip.

Afterwards, I experimented on the colouring by adding pink light on the counter behind them, and the lighting on their frames. While it is not planned, it looks pretty good, better than I thought. Maybe I should draw the colour guide for my robot OCs later.
